Whittier: Deputy T-Boned By Truck At Intersection

12.20.2018 | 8:30 PM | WHITTIER – A deputy was t-boned in his patrol vehicle in a crash that hospitalized two, Thursday night.

The deputy was in a marked Crown Victoria Police Interceptor at the intersection of Saragosa Street and Pioneer Boulevard when he was t-boned by a truck at around 8:30 PM.

Firefighter paramedics responded to the crash and treated two individuals from the truck who were later transported to an area hospital.

It was not immediately known whether the deputy suffered from any injuries.

Highway patrol officers responded to investigate the cause of the crash.
