Whittier: Brush Fire Burns About Three Acres

06.04.2020 | 1:58 AM | WHITTIER – A brush fire burned about three acres, early Thursday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a brush fire burning along Turnbull Canyon Road about one-half mile east of Beverly Boulevard around 1:58 AM.

Units arriving on scene located the fire burning in a difficult to reach area.

Once ground crews made it on scene the blaze was quickly contained with only three acres scorched.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
