Whites Fire | Canyon Country

01.19.2021 | 1:27 PM | CANYON COUNTRY – A wind driven brush fire erupted next to Whites Canyon Road in the brush.

The fire was running downhill towards houses. LACoFD quickly got a handle on the fire.

Winds exceeded 20 mph during this fire and a high wind warning is continuing throughout the day. Forward progress was stopped as of 3:11 p.m.

The fire was held to one acre.
