Westminster: Skateboarder Struck & Killed By Car

07.24.2019 | 10:11 PM | WESTMINSTER – A skateboarder was dead after being struck by a vehicle, Wednesday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a pedestrian in the 14000 block of Goldenwest Street around 10:11 PM.

Units arriving on scene found an adult male unresponsive near a smashed skateboard.

Firefighter paramedics pronounced the young adult deceased on scene.

The driver who struck the skateboarder remained on scene and was cooperating with law enforcement.

All southbound lanes of Goldenwest were closed at Main Street until further notice while authorities investigated the circumstances surrounding the crash.
