Westminster: Man Gunned Down Near His Car

03.24.2019 | 8:45 PM | WESTMINSTER – A man was hospitalized after being gunned down while standing near his car, Sunday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a shooting with a victim down near the intersection of Chestnut and Park streets around 8:45 PM.

Units arriving on scene located the adult male down suffering from a gunshot wound.

Firefighter paramedics treated the victim on scene before transporting him to an area hospital in unknown condition.

Officers cordoned off the scene of the shooting while they investigated.

No suspect description or motive was immediately available.
