- According to HPD LT Khan:
- At 255 West Parker HSCO unit pursued dark sedan that was doing donuts
- Car refused to pull over
- Pursuit lasted 5-10 minutes
- Pursuit ended at i45 & West Road after car crashed into traffic light box, shutting down traffic lights in the intersection
- Driver was arrested for evading police
- Female passenger was transported to hospital by police for complaints of head pain
- TXDOT contacted for traffic light outage at intersection
- HPD shadowed the HCSO chase for backup
