West Covina: Woman Leads Officers On Chase

08.07.2020 | 12:30 AM | WEST COVINA – A woman led officers on a pursuit that ended at the West Covina Mall, early Friday morning.

Officers attempted to stop a newer model Ford Fusion in East Los Angeles but the driver failed to yield.

A pursuit was initiated and continued along the I-10 Freeway around before the driver exited and eventually yielded at the West Covina Mall.

Officers took the women into custody without further incident. She claimed she was running because someone was shooting at her prior to the pursuit.
