West Covina: Freeway Pile-Up Leaves One Dead

01.05.2019 | 11:40 PM | WEST COVINA – A woman was dead after a multi-vehicle crash, late Saturday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a crash involving as many as seven vehicles on the westbound I-10 Freeway just west of Via Verde around 11:40 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a multi-vehicle traffic collision with one woman on the ground being administered CPR by good Samaritans.

Firefighter paramedics pronounced the female victim deceased on scene and worked to evaluate several other victims.

Officers closed multiple lanes while they worked to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
