Vista: Shooting Victim Found On Sidewalk

07.18.2020 | 12:00 AM | VISTA – A man was being treated for gunshot wounds after being found down on a sidewalk, early Saturday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a shooting victim in the 1000 block of North Santa Fe Avenue around 12:00 AM.

Deputies arriving on scene located a male victim down on the sidewalk suffering from gunshot wounds.

Firefighter paramedics treated and transported the victim to Palomar Hospital in unknown condition.

Initial reports indicate a suspect in a white vehicle opened fire on the victim before fleeing.

No motive or suspect description was immediately available.
