Vista: Security Guard Discovers Man Shot To Death

03.26.2020 | 9:40 PM | VISTA – A man was found shot to death by a security guard in an industrial complex, Thursday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a shooting victim down in the 2500 block of South Santa Fe Avenue around 9:40 PM.

Deputies arriving on scene learned that a security guard working for Tri-City Patrol had discovered a male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his back near a vehicle.

Firefighter paramedics attempted to perform life-saving measures but pronounced the victim deceased on scene.

The area surrounding the victim was closed while homicide investigators responded to the scene.

No suspect description or additional information was immediately available.
