Vernon: Officer Injured After Two-Car Crash

11.04.2019 | 12:19 AM | VERNON – A police officer was injured after a crash involving his patrol vehicle and another car, early Monday morning.

Authorities responded to an officer reporting he had been involving in a traffic collision with another vehicle at the intersection of Soto and 54th streets around 12:19 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a two-vehicle crash with both the officer and civilian driver injured.

Firefighter paramedics treated both victims on scene before transporting them to an area hospital in unknown condition.

The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
