Vermont Square: Reported Fight Over TV Remote Leads To Stabbing

09.22.2019 | 10:15 PM | LOS ANGELES – A man was hospitalized after being stabbed after a fight reportedly broke out over a dispute involving a television remote control, Sunday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a stabbing in the 1000 block of West 52nd Street in the Vermont Square area around 10:15 PM.

Units arriving on scene located an adult male suffering from at least one stab wound.

Firefighter paramedics transported the victim to an area hospital in unknown condition.

Initial reports indicate the victim and the suspect were in an argument over a television remote when the suspect grabbed a knife and began attacking the victim.

Officers took the suspect into custody at the scene and requested paramedics transport him to an area hospital for medical clearance.
