Vermont-Slauson: Man Found Dead Near Church

Authorities responded to reports of a man down near a church at the intersection of 55th and Hoover streets in the Vermont-Slauson area around 10:45 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a male in his 20s deceased on a sidewalk.

A crime scene was established while detectives investigated the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
