Vermont-Slauson: Man Dead After Car-to-Car Shooting

04.07.2020 | 8:10 PM | LOS ANGELES – A man was dead after being struck by gunfire while driving, Tuesday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a shooting near the intersection of South Hoover and West 58th streets in the Vermont-Slauson area around 8:10 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a black BMW sedan in the middle of the street with the male driver inside suffering from a gunshot wound.

Firefighter paramedics pronounced the victim deceased on scene and cordoned off the area surrounding the shooting while they investigated.

Initial reports indicate that occupant of another vehicle opened fire on the man as he drove down the street.

No suspect description or motive was immediately available.
