Vermont-Slauson: Investigation Underway After Man Shot

Authorities responded to reports of a shooting victim near the intersection of West 70th Street and South Raymond in the Vermont-Slauson area around 11:15 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound.

Firefighter paramedics transported the man to an area hospital in unknown condition.

Initial reports indicate the man may have been driving when he was struck by gunfire at a different location.

No suspect description or motive was immediately available.
