Ventura: Woman Crashes Off Freeway Into Tree

01.19.2019 | 2:19 AM | VENTURA – A woman was hospitalized after she drove off a freeway and crashed into a car, Saturday morning.

Authorities responded to the reported crash on the southbound I-101 just north of Main Street around 2:19 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a solo vehicle down an embankment off the freeway. The car had come to rest against a tree leaving the female driver injured.

Firefighter paramedics treated the female on scene before transporting her to an area hospital.

Officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
