Ventura: Man Shot In Front of San Buenaventura Mission

01.17.2019 | 12:07 AM | VENTURA – A man was hospitalized after being shot in front of the San Beunaventura Mission, early Thursday morning.

Authorities responded to the reported shooting in front of the San Buenaventura Mission in the 200 block of East Main Street around 12:07 AM.

Units arriving on scene learned that the reported victim had been taken to an area hospital by a private vehicle.

Officers caught up with the vehicle and followed it to an area hospital where the victim was admitted with non-life-threatening injuries.

Additional officers secured the scene of the shooting while they investigated the circumstances surrounding the incident.
