Ventura: Man On Bicycle Shot To Death

12.14.2018 | 10:34 PM | VENTURA – A man riding a bicycle was dead after being gunned down by a suspect who remains at large, Friday night.

Authorities responded to the intersection of Peacock Avenue and Whipporwhill Street regarding reports of a man that had been shot around 10:30 PM.

Units arriving on scene located the male victim on the ground next to his bike suffering from at least one gunshot wound.

Firefighter paramedics performed life-saving measures on the man and transported to him to an area hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

A crime scene was established while officers searched for the suspect shooter.
