Ventura: Driver Strikes Pedestrian And Then Flees

11.18.2018 | 1:26 AM | VENTURA – A man was left in the roadway after being struck by a hit and run driver, early Sunday morning.

Police and fire officials responded to reports of a subject down near the intersection of Harbor Boulevard and Sanjon Road shortly before 1:30 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a man down in the roadway who had apparently been struck by a vehicle.

Firefighter paramedics responded and treated the victim on scene before transporting him to an area hospital.

A witness reported seeing an unknown type vehicle strike the pedestrian before fleeing.
