Ventura: Crash Leaves Driver Dead, Vehicle Hanging Over Embankment

02.20.2020 | 10:45 PM | VENTURA – A man was killed after a crash that left is truck hanging over an embankment, Thursday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision on the southbound I-101 Freeway at Seacliff around 10:45 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a pickup truck hanging off the side of an embankment with one victim deceased inside.

Crews worked to secure the vehicle so that the coroner could recover the victim.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
