Ventura: Burglars Saw Into Safe Inside Check Cashing Business
02.24.2020 | 2:30 AM | VENTURA – Police are searching for burglars who sawed into a safe after breaking into a check cashing business, early Monday morning.
Officers responded to a burglar alarm at a check cashing business located in the 100 block of West Main street around 2:30 AM.
Units arriving on scene located a smashed window and entered to conduct a protective sweep.
Once inside officers observed a safe that had been cut open using a saw.
It was unclear what, if anything, was taken from the safe.
An investigation is ongoing and no suspect information was immediately available.
