Ventura: Armed Duo Continues Robbery Spree

07.17.2017 | 10:50 PM | VENTURA – An armed duo continued their gas station robbery spree, Wednesday night.

Authorities responded to reports of an armed robbery at a gas station located in the 700 block of North Ventura Avenue around 10:50 PM.

Units arriving on scene learned from the store’s clerk that two armed men wearing ski masks entered the store and demanded money.

One of the suspects was armed with a handgun and the other a machete.

The clerk complied with the armed men and turned offer an unknown amount of cash prompting the suspects to flee on foot.

Authorities were on scene collecting evidence and investigating the robbery and its relationship to several other robberies in the Santa Paula and Ventura area.
