Vehicle Slams into Fire Hydrant

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 1-4-25 | 2:00 am
LOCATION: Soto & Valley
AREA/CITY: Boyle Heights, CA
DETAILS:

1. Single vehicle crash into high-powered hydrant
2. At least one person was transported from the crash scene.
3. The call came out as a possible fatal, but LAFD was able to transport
4. Water shooting 100ft into the air and hitting live wires
5. DWP is at the scene trying to shut off the water and possibly the power
