Vehicle Slams Into Building After Driver Has Seizure

At approximately 1:12 p.m. on April 5th, 2026, Central County Fire and Burlingame Police responded to a vehicle into a building at 2105 Carmelita Avenue in Burlingame.

According to preliminary information, the driver reportedly suffered a seizure before crashing into the structure.

The building sustained significant damage, prompting the response of building inspectors and crews.

The driver was transported to a local hospital. No other injuries were reported.

The incident remains under investigation.
