Vehicle Left Standing Vertically On Front Porch
At approximately 3:45 a.m. on June 7, 2026, Los Angeles Police and Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded to a two-vehicle collision on Pacific Coast Highway west of Wilmington Boulevard in Wilmington.
When crews arrived, they discovered one of the vehicles had left the roadway, crashed through a gate, and become lodged vertically against the front porch of a residence.
The homeowners were inside the residence at the time of the crash. Although they were not injured, they described the impact as extremely loud.
The female driver of the vehicle that struck the home was picked up from the scene by family members.
Officials from the Department of Water and Power also responded after a light pole was damaged in the collision.
Investigators located nitrous oxide canisters at the scene, though it remains unclear whether impairment played any role in the crash.
Video from later in the morning shows a tow truck carefully removing the vehicle from the porch and away from the damaged residence.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
