INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 5-10-25 1:44 pm
LOCATION: NB Beyer Way S/O Palm Ave
AREA/CITY: San Diego
DETAILS:

  1. The male driver of the Lexus struck a male cyclist while driving northbound on Beyer Way towards the City of Chula Vista.
  2. The victim suffered major head trauma and was declared deceased at the scene.
  3. Unofficially, it’s believed that the cyclist was going downhill, but he didn’t look back as he was changing lanes before he was struck.
  4. There is damage and blood along the car’s passenger side.
  5. The SDPD Traffic Unit is investigating.
  6. Beyer Way is closed to all traffic at this time.
