Vehicle Fatally Strikes Pedestrian in El Cajon

DETAILS:
- The female driver of the car was heading north on N. 2nd St. when she suddenly saw a male in her traffic lane.
- He was wearing all black, and she hit him.
- He went up onto her hood, then the window, then up to the top of the roof.
- When 1st Responders arrived, he was unconscious and not breathing with major head trauma.
- CPR was started and then continued as he was transported to Sharp Memorial Hospital.
- He was declared deceased at the hospital.
- The driver stayed at the scene.
- Northbound N. 2nd St is closed for an unknown amount of time at Flamingo Ave.
