Vehicle Crushed after Box Truck Hits Car Port

DETAILS:
- Riverside Fire Department responded to a reported carport at an apartment complex that was hit by a box truck, causing the carport to fall and land on a vehicle.
- When they arrived, they found a “Clutter” moving company truck and a carport that had fallen, landing on the car.
- It appears that a tenant at the apartments hired “Clutter” moving company to assist in a move. During that move the Clutter moving truck hit a carport, causing it to fall, landing on the vehicle.
- No one was injured in the collision.
- The vehicle is a total loss.
- According to the person who vehicle it was, it was a rental car. They did not want to do a soundbite but the wife came to the vehicle to go to the store right after the collision occurred, and that is how they found out.
- According to them, there are usually multiple cars under the carport but all other tenets who park there were not home at the time.
- The carport is extremely heavy, with the weight of all the cement tiles, the metal beams and wood.
