Vehicle Crashes Through Fence Before Landing in Pool

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 5-10-25 1:30 a.m.
LOCATION: Hawthorne Boulevard & San Nicolas Drive
AREA/CITY: Palos Verdes
DETAILS:

  1. First responders were dispatched to a single vehicle traffic collision.
  2. Arriving units found a vehicle that had crashed into a fence before landing into a pool.
  3. The driver was pinned in the vehicle until first responders were able to free her from the wreckage.
  4. 3 passengers fled on foot through the neighborhood.
  5. The driver suffered minor injuries and was transported to a local area hospital.
  6. Lomita Sheriffs found alcohol and a can of Nitrous Oxide inside of the vehicle.
  7. No other information is available at this time.
