Vehicle Crashes Into Ravine, Driver Killed

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 4-12-25 2:26 am
LOCATION: Skyline Truck Trail S/O Castle Peak Ln
AREA/CITY: Jamul
DETAILS:

1. First responders arrived at the scene of an accident, where they found a Toyota Highlander had flown off of a cliff and down into a small ravine on the Skyline Truck Trail.
2. When the firefighters made their way down, they found a male who was in critical condition after being ejected in the crash.
3. He was brought out of the ravine and rushed to Sharp Memorial Hospital in CPR status.
4. Speed was a factor, but it’s unknown now if DUI was involved.
5. The CHP is investigating.
