Van Plows Into Liquor Store
12.13.2020 | 7:17 PM | SANTA ANA – Authorities received calls regarding the solo vehicle crash shortly after 7:15 PM Sunday on the northeast corner of S Parton Street & W McFadden Avenue.
The female driver of a van was taken to a nearby hospital after striking another truck, losing control their van and sending it into a liquor store. Firefighters arrived on scene to locate the van halfway into the Fairview Liquor Market with the driver out of the vehicle.
The business was open at the time of the crash, but fortunately no one else was hurt. The business building is expected to be red tagged by building and safety officials.
The driver was transported in unknown condition to a local hospital. It is unknown if drugs or alcohol played a factor in the collision. Speed by the female van driver is suspected to be a factor.
The driver of truck involved in the crash suffered minor injuries and declined medical transport.
