Van Nuys: Teenagers Ejected From Stolen Car After Pursuit

02.27.2020 | 10:30 PM | LOS ANGELES – Three teens and one adult were injured after the reportedly stolen vehicle they were fleeing from police in crashed into a light pole causing multiple ejections, Thursday night.

Officer attempted to stop a reportedly stolen vehicle in the Los Angeles Police Department’s Foothill Division in the Van Nuys area around 10:30 PM.

The driver of the vehicle failed to yield to officers and fled at dangerous speeds.

Pursuing officers went into surveillance mode due to the reckless driving pattern but the suspects crashed into a pole shortly after on the southbound I-405 Freeway just south of Victory around 10:30 PM.

The crash injured three teenagers and one male inside the car, some of whom were ejected in the crash.

Firefighter paramedics treated all four victims and transported them to area hospitals in police custody.
