Van Nuys: Pedestrian Trapped Under Police Car After Being Struck

09.05.2019 | 11:58 PM | LOS ANGELES – A woman was quickly freed from underneath a police vehicle after being struck, late Thursday night.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving a pedestrian in the parking lot of Denny’s in the 16600 block of Sherman Way in Van Nuys around 11:58 PM.

Crews arriving on scene found a woman trapped underneath a police vehicle and quickly removed her.

Firefighter paramedics treated the woman on scene before transporting her to an area hospital in stable condition.

The circumstances surrounding the incident were under under investigation.
