Valley Glen: Suspected DUI Driver Crashes Truck Into Home

04.19.2020 | 2:34 AM | LOS ANGELES – A suspected DUI driver was under arrest after crashing his truck into a home, early Sunday morning.

Authorities responded to reports of a vehicle that had crashed into a home in the 6100 block of North Buffalo Avenue in the Valley Glen area around 2:34 AM.

Units arriving on scene located a white Ford F-150 pickup truck that had crashed into the garage of a home causing significant structural damage.

The driver of the truck and residents inside the home were not injured in the crash but the building had to be evacuated due to the damage.

Officers administered field sobriety tests on the driver before placing him under arrest on suspicion of DUI.

A city building inspector and an Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) team are on scene working to stabilize the home.
