Valley Glen: Metro Bus Crash Injures Five

07.25.2019 | 3:17 PM | VALLEY GLEN – A crash involving an articulated Metro bus left five people injured, Thursday evening.

Authorities responded to reports of a traffic collision involving an Metro bus in the 6300 block of Woodman Avenue around 3:17 PM.

Units arriving on scene found an articulated Metro bus that had collided with a blue Nissan sedan before crashing through a fence.

The drivers of both vehicles, including three passengers on the bus, were treated and transported by firefighter paramedics.

Initial reports indicate the driver of the Nissan sedan ran a red light causing the bus to lose control and crash as it attempted to avoid a collision.

Police are on scene investigating.
