Valinda: Suspicious House Fire Injures Two

06.17.2020 | 5:11 PM | VALINDA – Two people were injured after a suspicious house fire, Wednesday evening.

Authorities responded to reports of a residential structure fire burning in the 1200 block of North Aileron Avenue around 5:11 PM.

Units arriving on scene located a one-story home with heavy smoke showing and located a female in her 60s and a male in his 40s suffering from smoke inhalation and other injuries outside.

Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire and transported both victims to Queen of the Valley Hospital in unknown condition.

Investigators are responding to the scene to investigate the cause which was determined suspicious.
