Valinda: Man Dead After Car To Car Shooting

11.10.2018 | 1:30 AM | VALINDA – A man was dead after a car to car shooting, early Saturday morning.

Police and fire officials responded around 1:30 AM to the intersection of Fairgrove and Del Valle avenues reference shots fired in the area.

Deputies arriving on scene located a man slumped over the steer wheel of a vehicle and initiated first aid.

Firefighters paramedics responded and continued to perform life saving measures before pronouncing the man deceased.

Initial reports indicate a suspect inside a dark-colored Dodge Charger opened fire on the man before fleeing.

The area was closed while Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department homicide detectives investigate.
