Valencia: Brush Fire Evacuates Six Flags Amusement Park

06.09.2019 | 11:59 AM | VALENCIA – A brush fire that quickly spread to 40+ acres prompted the evacuation of a popular amusement park, Sunday afternoon.

Authorities responded to reports of a brush fire near the Six Flags Magic Mountain Amusement Park around shortly before 12:00 PM.

Units arriving on scene located the multi-acre brush fire that was threatening the nearby amusement park.

Crews battled the flames while emergency personnel evacuated the amusement park as a precaution.

Some smoke inhalation injuries were reported however the extend and number of those injuries was unclear.

The was was eventually controlled after burning 40+ acres.
