Upland: Small Airplane Makes Emergency Landing on Freeway

11.08.2018 | 3:45 PM | UPLAND – No injuries were reported after a small plane made an emergency landing, Thursday afternoon.

Authorities were alerted to the emergency landing on the westbound 210 Freeway just east of Mountain Avenue in Upland around 3:45 PM.

Crews responding to the scene found a single engine Cessna 182 Skylane near the shoulder of the freeway partially blocking lanes.

The pilot and all passengers aboard the aircraft were uninjured.

The aircraft’s nose landing gear appeared to have collapsed during the landing.

Traffic was delayed while authorities worked to clear the scene.
