Unusual Rescue After Crash | Chula Vista

01.11.22 10:00 AM | CHULA VISTA – The female driver of the truck had just picked some food from the free food bank at St. Marks Luthern Church. As she was driving the driveway, she became distracted and her truck hit the curb and went over the side. The truck was stuck and tipping over down the steep embankment to the sidewalk and the street. Firefighters were able to secure the truck and stop it, if it started to tip or slide down the embankment. The firefighters used a ladder and backboard to act as a slide to extricate the woman.
