University Park: Man Fatally Shot Inside Pickup Truck

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 11-1-23 | 11:15 p.m.
LOCATION: 23rd & Ellendale Pl
CITY: Los Angeles
DETAILS:

1. LAPD & LAFD responded to a shooting
2. Officers arrived to find a male inside a pickup truck not conscious and not breathing
3. LAFD Paramedics arrived and declared the male deceased at the scene
4. LAPD Officers located several shell casings in the street near where the victim was found
5. It appears more than 10 rounds were fired by a rifle
6. LAPD South West & Homicide are handling the investigation
