U.S. Navy Involved In Big Rig Crash

- Details are few at this point.
- The U.S. Navy sailor lost control of a transport truck and went through the center divider wall, and landed on top of it.
- The male driver of another vehicle lost control and crashed further down the freeway, and flipped onto its roof.
- Large chunks of concrete went flying into the southbound lanes and hit several cars, or the cars ran over the debris.
- The Sailor was injured and transported to a local hospital.
- There were no other reported injuries.
- The sailor was heard telling the CHP that he is carrying military jet parts (F-35) worth over $1 million.
- Traffic is slowed in both directions of the I-805.
