DETAILS:
- The USCG Cutter “Halibut” intercepted and detained a Panga boat full of illegal immigrants.
- The panga was seen traveling north from the U.S./Mexican border, and the Cutter intercepted them.
- There were at least 10 illegal immigrants onboard.
- The Coast Guard brought the immigrants to the Pt. Loma Naval Submarine Base and sent them by small boat to the docks, where U.S. Border Patrol Agents met them.
