U.S. Border Patrol Agents Reportedly Shot At | Dulzura

03.25.2022 | 2:00 PM | DULZURA – One or more agents were on patrol in the foothills of Otay Mtn., when they reported being shot at by someone with a possible AR-15.

The agents took cover behind some boulders and called for help.

Several South County law enforcement agencies responded to the area.

The reported shooting happen to the southeast of the Pink Gate Shooting Range Area that is on Bureau of Land Management lands.

A Command Post has been set up on Marron Valley Rd and a manhunt is being conducted.

As of 5:00 pm, no one has been found.

The FBI and other agencies will be investigating.

One undocumented immigrant was captured during the incident.
