Two Trapped in Rainy 118 Freeway Rollover Crash

LOCATION: WB 118 Freeway at Madera Road
AREA/CITY: Simi Valley
DETAILS:

1. A solo vehicle crash involving a grey SUV occurred on the WB 118 just east of Madera Road
2. Per CHP the vehicle landed in the center median and two occupants were trapped in the vehicle
3. Firefighters used tools to perform a “door pop” and free the trapped occupants
4. Both occupants were transported to a local hospital with non life threatening injuries
5. CHP Moorpark is investigating the cause of the collision
