- Phoenix Fire and Glendale Police responded to a traffic collision involving a semi truck.
- Crews arrived and located a car that had become wedged under the trailer of a semi truck.
- Two occupants were trapped inside of the car and needed to be extricated.
- Firefighters worked to extract both patients before they were transported by Maricopa Ambulance to a local trauma center.
- According to Phoenix Fire radio traffic:
- Both patients were listed in serious condition as they were transported.
- Both directions of Camelback Road are closed between 43rd Ave and 47th Ave.
