Two Toddlers Injured During Crash In Houston

DETAILS:

1. HPD and HFD responded to reports of a crash
2. arriving units located a sedan with heavy side impact damage
3. there were 2 young children restrained in child seats in the back, who were transported by HFD with a woman believed to be their mother.
4. prelim info from scene provided by officers and wrecker drivers was that a blue Dodge ram T boned the sedan in the intersection
5. there have been a large volume of injury crashes involving children this weekend.
6. this crash occurred during a “slab Sunday” car event where the parking lots at the intersection were taken over by driver and spectators
