Two Rescued From Overturned Truck After Crash

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 10-22-23 8:41 PM
LOCATION: Intersection of State College Blvd. & Northbound I-5 On-ramp
CITY: Orange
DETAILS:

1. A report of a major traffic collision dispatched units from the Orange Police and City Fire Departments to the intersection of State College Boulevard and the northbound Interstate 5 on-ramp.
2. A unit from Anaheim Fire & Rescue was also dispatched to assist.
3. Arriving units found 2 vehicle in, one on it’s side, with two people trapped inside the pickup.
4. It took firefighters approximately 18 minutes to extricate the driver of the pickup with the “Jaws of Life”.
5. Both of the drivers were transported in unknown condition to UCI Medical Center for treatment.
6. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the OPD.
