Two People Trapped After Stolen Truck Crashes Into Them

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 6-26-23, 12:4am
LOCATION: Norwood Ave and La Sierra Ave
CITY: Riverside

1. Riverside Police Department and Riverside Fire Department responded to a two car traffic collision with one person trapped.
2. When units arrived on scene, they found 2 cars, one a Hyundai with minor damage and about 50 yards up the road a white truck into a pole with major damage and one person trapped.
3. Riverside Fire Department performed an extended extricated (about 20-30 mins) of the subject trapped.
4. That victim was transported to a local area hospital suffering from unknown injuries
5. The driver of the truck was also transported with unknown but non life threatening injuries.
6. It is unclear where the subjects from the Hyundai are but it appears that that car my be a stolen vehicle but that has not been confirmed.
