Two People Shot Outside San Diego Hookah Lounge

INCIDENT DATE/TIME: 6-20-25 4:40 am
LOCATION: 8000 Blk of Clairemont Mesa Blvd.
AREA/CITY: San Diego
DETAILS:

 

1. The security guard for the NARA Ultra (Hookah) Lounge told us that people were arguing in the parking lot outside of the lounge when a male pulled a handgun and started to fire shots.
2. One male was hit in the chest, and a female in the leg.
3. The shooter then fled onto Clairemont Mesa Blvd.
4. The male and female were transported to a local hospital.
5. The male has a life-threatening injury.
6. The female’s condition is currently unknown.
7. The Police are interviewing witnesses.

UPDATE: From SDPD at 5:25 am, the male has been pronounced deceased at the hospital.

This is the 2nd homicide at this location.
